Prospr Foundation — Est. 2023

Changing lives one young person at a time.

Prospr Foundation embeds itself in communities across Tanzania to create real, lasting opportunities for young people. We show up, we build trust, and we do the work that actually matters — on the ground, in person, for the long haul.

Our Story

“On the descent from Kilimanjaro, I realised this country had more for me to do — it started with Abou, and a promise to build him a better future.
Cougar Lutze — Founder, Prospr Foundation

Born from
a calling.

In June 2023, Cougar Lutze travelled to Tanzania to experience a different culture and a different way of life. He spent nearly three months working with a local organisation providing nursery school care for children whose families couldn’t afford education — raising AU$9,000 to help complete construction of their school. What he found there changed everything.

He quit his job on the descent from Kilimanjaro. He made a promise to Abou. And from the moment he landed back in Australia, he was already building the vision for what would become Prospr Foundation.

Prospr Foundation was registered in January 2024 with one conviction: learn about the community, build trust, and create change that outlasts your presence.

Learning as
we build.

With every project, we deepen our understanding of the people we serve
and improve our chances of lasting impact.

Project 01

Arusha, Tanzania — 2024

AU$2,500 invested

Abou’s Gaming Lounge

Abou was the person who showed Cougar around Tanzania during his first visit and quickly became a close friend. Cougar invested AU$2,500 of his own money and spent three months on the ground helping Abou build a gaming lounge — a business Abou understood and loved. Today, Abou earns a consistent income that supports himself, his siblings, and his parents.

Project 02

Arusha, Tanzania — 2024

AU$3,500 raised

Babu Emmanuel

Babu Emmanuel is a tailor with a permanent smile. Cougar shared his story on social media and people fell in love. A fundraiser raised AU$3,500 — giving Babu access to water lines, secure doors and windows after a robbery, a concreted floor, and an electronic sewing machine. A home and a family’s livelihood transformed.

Project 03

Arusha, Tanzania — 2025

AU$32,000 p.a. in sponsorships

Selfless Solutions

In collaboration with Selfless Solutions, Prospr ran a 50-sponsors-in-50-days campaign to fund children’s education. We helped build a more sustainable organisation and gave them the platform to grow their sponsorship program — unlocking AU$32,000 in yearly recurring revenue that continues to support children in Tanzania today.

Yara Academy

Tanzania has never invested in its athletics programs. Gabriel Geay reached the world stage entirely off his own back. Together, we are building a holistic pathway for the next generation of elite Tanzanian runners — children who have the potential and the determination to compete with the best in the world. Education, boarding, mentorship, and elite coaching. We are creating the system that other countries take for granted.
